Floralia is Finally Here!!!!

I just talked to Selena Kareena today and we talked excitedly about the up and coming Belly Dance Festival “Floralia” in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico happening this weekend, April 29-May 2, 2010.  I can’t believe it’s here already and I am looking forward to spending time with dancers from all over the country! Here are a few tidbits happening this weekend:

1. Thursday Evening showing of the documentary “Belly”.
2. Workshops Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
3. Friday Dinner Dance Show with the workshop instructors.
4. Saturday Show including dancers from around the country and local.
5. Saturday evening raffle for amazing prizes!
6. Instruction from some of the best belly dancers around.
7. Daniel and I will give away a free video to dancers who come to the workshop and tell us the secret word from this blog. Here it is…….drums rolling…….. (Bellydancehusband) As you can see Daniel came up with the secret word!

It looks like Selena has a lot of dancers coming in so make sure you get in contact with her ASAP so you can get registerd for the classes that interest you. My workshop will be on the art of restaurant performing and information on how to make better tips and deal with the problematic customer or couples. Come and dance and I’ll look forward to seeing you in Truth or Consequences, NM this weekend!
